The challenge of this project was to rebrand an application that was already considered 4 stars by its users. Adbeus is a community of coffee lovers that started in Montreal and is still expanding, already being present in Toronto, Vancouver, Paris and New York, among others cities.
I developed a whole new iconography and logo, along with a new colour palette, which helped to dress it in a vintage style that was more cohesive with its community.
In terms of user experience, we added a series of filters for the users to choose from, including a selection of roasters, and reorganized how the information was displayed by each coffee shop. We also included a customized map, for those who prefer to explore the neighbourhoods finding new cafes by navigating through the streets.
For user retention, we also implemented a feed with news and events that could be saved and shared by the users.
This is an ongoing project and there are other features we intend to implement such as an accessibility filter and social sharing.
