Not Real food is an application I created with the objective of helping people to identify what is “not real food”. It included 6 sharable cards to illustrate 6 ways of identifying not healthy foods, a full definition of the concept “real food”, blog posts, recipes and a scanner that reads ingredients and alert users about certain ingredients.
Each product, when scanned, have their ingredients listed and marked in 3 different colours : green (safe), yellow (be careful) and red (not healthy food). Red items have a link to an “alert-pedia” section, which explains why that ingredient was marked as unhealthy and what diseases have been associated with its consumption.
